New Year, New Projects, New Look

This year I have decided to switch to wordpress and start another blog there, just for a little change.

How I view.. the Holidays

I can't believe this year has come to an end. It went by so quickly. This holiday season was by far the best. It feels like we hung around in our pajamas making Christmas ornaments, drinking hot chocolate, decorating cookies all month. We have made not one but three gingerbread houses. We have done the tacky light tour, we have sat around and listened to Christmas music all month long. We have gone out for little date nights, all three of us, or just Sophie and I and got a cake pop and a hot chocolate treat or 'teet' as she calls it and danced around the big Christmas tree like no one was watching. Christmas morning was the best day of all seeing how happy she was to see all the presents under the tree, and seeing her face after playing the harmonica was priceless. 

Visiting Santa was also interesting, hopefully next year will be a little more smiley. :)

How I View... Blessings

 How I view... Blessings. Part of my 12 month challenge with 12 other photographers, November's challenge was blessings. I have many in my life but these images are just a few that I am grateful for. Watching this little girl grow up and in less then 3 months be a big sister is our biggest blessing. Am so grateful for so many things on a daily basis, I wish I could capture it daily.

The park

Starting to get chilly, and we love it. Love the fall colors the fall breeze and fresh air. The feel of the holidays coming soon. Love to get out and just take it in.

The 'every day'

Lately we started crafts. Christmas crafts to be specific. I'm loving every bit of it. I just have to be a little more creative and see what we can come up with. One day I just decided to take the camera up into the playroom and just observe her as she played with her toys. The light was so beautiful I had to do it. I must do it more often.
