What a day.

We had a big storm last night here which meant waking up being woken up at 6 am by a little person being unusually chatty and no electricity. First thing that comes to mind is always 'coffee', followed by chocolate croissants. Panic strikes and what if the power wont come back until later... hmm what shall we do. We can bake the croissants on the bbq.. yes that shall work. What about coffee, feeling rather zombie like after 2 hours of waiting for the power to go back on i went out to find some coffee. Too late as the power went on as soon as I had left. Anyways, what is not an ideal way to start a Sunday morning, turned out into a great Sunday afternoon. We went to a birthday party on a farm and had quite a bit of fun. Sophie enjoyed the horses and the different sights. She is getting more used to grass and I'm not sure I'm liking that. Today she also took a few more steps on her own and i give it a few more days and she will be walking. She is getting courage with every step.
